Doubtful regarding Jaime. Looks like Drax the Loser was wrong again about him taking troops with him, although Cersei is clear she now wants him dead.
It looks like next week he is basically on trial.
Which puts an odd spin on it, will Sansa, Jon or Danny chair the trial or will all 3 chair it (or a combination therof)?
I am finding it tricky to see how Jaime will get out of this one.
1) He actually did push Bran out the window. I find it difficult to find that anyone could sucessfully calm down Arya, Sansa and Jon regarding this.
2) He killed Dany's father and ended his reign, being the man who put Dany on the run and into slavery etc.
I think Bran will keep tight lipped about being pushed out, as he recognises Jaime will have a large part to play in the coming battle.
He can also expect Tyrion to interced on his behalf. With Dany still reeling from killing Sam's family, there could well be a compromise here. Especially if Jaime is sold as being the man who brought dishonour on himself to save the people of King's Landing. It's not like he can vow to take the black now...
Or, what might be most interesting - will there be a trial of combat? But I don't think that is how the North does things, nor Dany. Obvious candidates for Dany would seem to be Sandor or Jorah as her champion, if we go down that route. I can't see Sandor losing, but if it's Jorah - dunno.
Also, Arya away from the main crowd and not being seen was reminiscient of Season 1, Episode 1.
Or more likely, it will be interrupted with the attack/news of the attack from the White Walkers. Jaime will either then get killed in episode 3 fighting them or do something decisive to redeem himself.
I have a feeling epsiode 2 is going to be very heavy on dialogue and politics. Which is a shame. Whilst this was the best feature early on, the writing is now poorer in later seasons, so I am hoping for the action scenes as payoff for what went before.
